Embodied Perception through Philosophy, Science & Art.

This is an extended program of 6-8 sessions, designed to explore the body, the senses, and perception through interdisciplinary perspectives, bridging science, technology, art, and diverse cultural wisdom and philosophies. The workshop sessions aim to promote a deep sense of connection with nature, expand participants’ awareness of embodiment and perception, and inspire curiosity and wonder about life’s complexity.

What to Expect:

👥 Welcoming moment & collective exchange – Conversations in groups, pairs, or round-table discussions to reflect on the experience.

📖 Presentation on the topic – Insights from science, philosophy, technology, and cultural perspectives.

🧘‍♀️ Embodied movement practices – Exercises to connect perception and bodily awareness.

🖌️Artistic practices – Hands-on creative exercises where participants create small pieces (to take home or contribute to a collective artwork).

Goals and Topics: 

Each session will explore key aspects of embodiment, perception, and reality construction, including:

👁️ The Body as a Sensory Interface : Understanding how we perceive and shape reality through our bodily experience.

🦉 Beyond the Human : Examining how perception functions in non-human life forms (animals, plants, fungi, AI).

🔬 Expanding the Senses:  Investigating how technology and art extend human sensory limitations.

🌎 Cultural Perspectives : Bringing together Western, Eastern, and Indigenous wisdom to explore different ways of understanding the body and perception.

🌿 Nature as a Blueprint: Exploring how nature inspires artistic expression and technological advancements.

🧠 Diversity of Thought – Providing a platform where scientific knowledge interacts with non-Western paradigms to challenge and enrich perspectives.

🎨 Creative Expression –  Encouraging participants to create individual art pieces or contribute to a collective installation.

Formats available & number of participants


Each session is modular and adaptable to small spaces or larger institutional settings. Small (5-10 people, hands-on) & Large (lecture + interactive elements)
