DANCE OF THE PSYCHE (2019)

In search for understanding, I ventured to explore altered states of consciousness using psychedelic substances. Part of this journey was captured in these pieces and in the first chapter of my bachelor thesis.

In this series the drawings Inner me, Inner me II and Inner me III along with the paintings Sensation I, Bea’s Portrait, The honest Stroke, Marco’s Portrait and Self-portrait According to Marco, have been animated to recreate the visual perception caused by an altered state of consciousness with LSD.
